Brilianto showcases its diamonds of unique origin at GCAT Las Vegas 2026, a major Arabian horse competition

Brilianto showcases its diamonds of unique origin at GCAT Las Vegas 2026, a major Arabian horse competition

From 2 to 4 October, Brilianto exhibited at GCAT Americas Las Vegas 2026, the American season finale of the Global Champions Arabians Tour, held at Resorts World Las Vegas. The international event brought together leading Arabian horse breeders, owners and enthusiasts in an atmosphere where competition went hand in hand with luxury and entertainment.

For Brilianto, it was an opportunity to reach the US market and showcase its diamonds of unique origin. In particular, its Bespoke diamonds, created from carbon extracted from a horse's mane or tail, attracted considerable interest among visitors and sparked deeply personal conversations.

GCAT Las Vegas: a celebration of the Arabian horse

Las Vegas hosted the third and final leg of GCAT Americas 2026, following competitions in Scottsdale and Miami Beach. Over three days, some of the finest purebred Arabian horses competed before an international audience.

The competition focused on the horses’ conformation. An international panel of judges assessed characteristics such as the head and neck, body proportions, legs and movement. The finals took place on Sunday, 4 October.

But GCAT is also a celebration of the Arabian horse’s heritage and prestige. Beyond the show ring, guests enjoyed VIP areas, live music and other activities. The event also attracted figures from the worlds of film, music and sport, including actor Mark Wahlberg and former Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler.

Meaningful conversations at GCAT Las Vegas

One of the most rewarding experiences for Brilianto was talking to people from the Arabian horse community and sharing our Bespoke concept with them: creating a diamond from carbon extracted from a small sample of hair taken from their horse’s mane or tail.

The idea sparked considerable interest, especially as visitors began to realise what such a diamond could mean to them. Many shared their own stories with us. They spoke about the horses that are part of their lives, the ones they care for and enjoy spending time with every day, compete with or devote so much time, effort and resources to. Some of these conversations were deeply moving.

These conversations also revealed that some visitors were interested in bringing different personal stories together in a single diamond, with carbon extracted from materials of different origins.

Brilianto strengthens its ties with the equestrian world

Brilianto’s participation in GCAT Las Vegas builds on its growing relationship with the equestrian world. The brand was an Official Sponsor of CSIO Barcelona 2026, one of the leading international show jumping events, which also took place in early October.

This relationship is also supported by Brilianto ambassadors Beatriz Ferrer-Salat, a two-time Olympic medallist in dressage; show jumping rider Sira Martínez; and polo player Sofía Schonlau.

Beatriz Ferrer-Salat’s story illustrates the meaning behind our Bespoke concept. She has chosen a small sample of hair from the tail of her horse Quotenprinz to create a diamond that reflects the bond between them.

Brilianto also works with specialist equestrian centres such as Villa Equus, Barcelona Horses, Equus Centrum, Yeguada Bassols and Yeguada Torreluna, helping to bring this concept closer to people who are deeply involved in the equestrian world.

Three diamond rivière necklaces with a unique origin

Alongside its Bespoke concept, Brilianto showcased three rivière necklaces at GCAT Las Vegas, each featuring a continuous line of diamonds. The three pieces were linked to major European football clubs: FC Barcelona, Real Madrid and Arsenal FC.

These necklaces are another example of how Brilianto creates diamonds from carbon extracted from materials with special significance. In this case, the carbon came from the grass of the three clubs’ stadiums.

Brilianto was the only Spanish exhibitor at GCAT Las Vegas 2026. The event gave us the opportunity to showcase our diamonds to an international audience and see firsthand the interest in creating a piece of jewelry from something as personal as a horse’s mane or tail.
